In Japanese, Roku translates as the number six. Inside every bottle of Roku Gin, you will find six very special botanicals that are sourced in Japan. These represent Suntory’s commitment to only use the best ingredients harvested from the best growing areas in Japan. Every aspect of Roku Gin is crafted by Japanese artisans with a centuries-old tradition of meticulous attention to detail.
Rabble hosted a wonderful bloggers event on Thursday 31st October to celebrate the launch of our Suntory ROKU Gin Menu. The cocktails, inspired by Japanese culture were created in conjunction with the Rugby World Cup; which is being hosted in Japan this year.
We invited local bloggers from around Edinburgh to come along and enjoy a selection of Suntory ROKU Gin cocktails from the comfort of Rabble’s garden. The garden is covered in delicate flowers, Japanese lanterns & you were surrounded by glass ROKU gin bottles proudly displayed on the shelves.

Throughout the night we had our dedicated mixologist making the drinks with ease while taking us through the process of how each cocktail is made while telling us about the history of Suntory ROKU Gin!
Rabble also provided a few delicious sharing boards which went down a treat! The ‘On The Board’ sharer which came with sticky sesame wings, 15 hour pork ribs, chilli brisket, creamed corn, skinny fries, root slaw, flatbreads
& beer-braised onions was a crowd favourite and is available on our evening menu at Rabble.
